I bought the laptop Eee based on all the positive reviews. Was looking for something compact with a long battery life. The PC has worked well the first day. But it went kaput the next. Display not lit. I called Asus tech support and after some troubleshooting procedures to follow me recommended that I send the unit to them. This meant having to pay for shipping and not sure they would replce to determine if the device, and when he would return. I called and Amazon said they would me a full refund and also have a label free. So the last option was a breeze. Very disappointed, because my research has shown that this is a good buy for my needs.

I bought this netbook to do every day details, and ultimately my Sony laptop. Overall I'm very pleased with this product. In reality there is not much I would change, even if the technicians "out there disagree.
There are two disadvantages that I would be treated:
One. Trial version of Office, I believe that I have not read the fine print. I tried the Microsoft product key to activate the program, but apparently I need to purchase separately on this website MSN - Price $ 80. MSN lets you use the Office programs, but only about 20 times until becomes inert.

I bought my ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-P on September 30. For the first 3 weeks everything worked perfectly. I had to fit the smaller screen, especially when using programs with multiple toolbars, a small cut and "F11", which has caused.
